How to get a quiz from NotebookLM

  1. Use Chrome. The quiz exporter is a Chrome extension.
  2. Install the NotebookLM Quiz Exporter extension.
  3. Generate a quiz in NotebookLM. Open your NotebookLM notebook and create the quiz you want to host.
  4. Open the quiz in NotebookLM. Make sure the generated quiz is visible in the browser.
  5. Export it as CSV. Open the NotebookLM Quiz Exporter extension in Chrome and choose the CSV export.
  6. Import the CSV here. Click Host a game and upload the exported CSV.

The CSV should use the format:
#,Question,Hint,Option A,Option B,Option C,Option D,Correct Answer,Rationale
"1","What is the capital of France?","Think of the city associated with the Eiffel Tower.","Paris","Rome","Berlin","Madrid","A. Paris","Paris is the capital of France."

Playing a game

Hosts upload a quiz and display the PIN or QR code. Players scan the QR code or enter the PIN on their phones at https://quiz.anthonybranda.site/join.html. Players can join even after the quiz has started.

If a player disconnects, they can rejoin with the same nickname and their existing score will be restored.
